Coming off a 48-3 win over UCF in the home dual opener, the No. 22 Keiser wrestling team hits the road this Saturday, October 31st, for the Friends Open hosted by Friends University at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Wichita, Kan. Action begins at 9:00 a.m., as the Seahawks open their open-tournament schedule against one of the deepest early-season fields in the NAIA.

The tournament features 36 teams, including No. 1 Grand View, No. 6 Oklahoma City, No. 8 Friends University, No. 13 Arizona Christian, No. 14 Doane, No. 16 Morningside, No. 21 Corban, No. 23 Embry-Riddle, and No. 25 Bellevue. The event gives Keiser an early look at top-tier competition as the Seahawks work toward the postseason.

Leading the way for Keiser will be three nationally ranked wrestlers. Patrick Jones (125) is ranked No. 9 in the NAIA preseason rankings and is the reigning conference champion at 125 pounds. No. 8 Sam Libby (197) returns as a Manuel Gorriaran Award winner and NWCA Scholar All-American. No. 12 Daguy Massillon (285) brings national tournament experience to the heavyweight bracket. All three return from last year's national qualifying group.

Joining them in the lineup is returning national qualifier Anthony Santos (149), along with a group of wrestlers looking to earn valuable mat time against a national-caliber field.
