The Keiser wrestling team hosts its first official home dual of the 2026-27 season Friday night as the Seahawks welcome the University of Central Florida to the Student Life Center in a non-conference matchup. First whistle is set for 7:00 p.m., as Keiser looks to start the dual schedule with a win in front of the home crowd.
The Seahawks enter the new season as the third-ranked team in the Southern States Athletic Conference preseason poll, led by a group of returning national qualifiers. Patrick Jones (125), Anthony Santos (149), Sam Libby (197), and Daguy Massillon (285) all return to the lineup, and Jett McCauley also returns as a national qualifier from last year's squad.
Jones, the reigning conference champion at 125 pounds, opens the year ranked No. 9 in the NAIA preseason rankings after going 19-10 last season. Santos, who went 18-13 and qualified for nationals, anchors the lineup at 149. Libby, an NWCA Scholar All-American and Manuel Gorriaran Award winner, enters the season ranked No. 8 after a 23-4 campaign. Massillon, ranked No. 12 at heavyweight, rounds out the group of ranked Seahawks at 285.
Keiser will also rely on the experience of Julian Gonzales (165) as the lineup works to find its rhythm early in the season.
UCF, a club program, makes its first trip to West Palm Beach for the first meeting between the two schools. The matchup gives the Seahawks a chance to open the dual season at home before heading to Wichita, Kan., for the Friends Open next weekend.
