WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – No. 24 Keiser baseball struggled in Saturday's doubleheader against Brewton-Parker, dropping both games by scores of 10-2 and 13-11. The Seahawks fell to 3-2 on the season after being outscored 23-13 and surrendering 27 hits across the two contests.
In the opener, Keiser managed just five hits and could not generate any offense until the ninth inning. The Seahawks were held scoreless through the first three innings before Brewton-Parker broke through with a run in the fourth. The Barons then exploded for five runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to take control of the game.
Jeremy Garcia provided one of the few offensive highlights for Keiser, going 2-for-4 with an RBI. The Seahawks finally broke through in the bottom of the ninth when Garcia singled home a run, but it was too late for the Seahawks. Keiser left runners on base throughout the game and could not capitalize on scoring opportunities.

The Seahawks fell behind 4-0 in the first inning as Brewton-Parker jumped on starter Seth Broadwell (0-1). Keiser battled back and kept it close throughout the middle innings, but the Barons delivered the knockout blow with five runs in the eighth to extend their lead to 13-9.
Andres Balart led the Seahawks' offensive effort, going 3-for-5 with two doubles. Jeremy Garcia reached base four times, going 2-for-3 with two walks and scoring twice. Jake Olsen contributed two hits, including an RBI single, while Tad Brooks added a pair of hits.
Keiser mounted a late rally in the bottom of the ninth, scoring two runs to make it 13-11. Andres Balart doubled to right center with Jeremy Garcia driving him home with a single through the right side. After Ty Martinez walked to put runners on first and second, Jake Olsen delivered another RBI single to the left side to bring the Seahawks within two. The rally continued when Avery Doezie was hit by a pitch to load the bases, but Keiser couldn't complete the comeback, ending the game within two runs.
