West Palm Beach, Fla.Aly Avrach etched her name into the Keiser record books Saturday afternoon, draining a school-record nine three-pointers en route to a career-high 28 points in the Seahawks' commanding 85-27 victory over New College of Florida at the Student Life Center.

The senior guard's remarkable shooting display proved historic in multiple ways. She connected on 9-of-13 from beyond the arc and remarkably outscored the entire New College team by herself, finishing with 28 points to the Mighty Banyans collective 27.

Avrach's shooting barrage came in waves throughout the afternoon. She knocked down three triples in the opening quarter to help establish early control, then added six more in the second half. A blistering third-quarter stretch saw her hit four three-pointers, extending Keiser's comfortable lead to an insurmountable margin.

The Seahawks (10-3, 2-1) established dominance from the opening tip, racing to an 18-8 lead after the first quarter behind balanced scoring and suffocating defense. By halftime, Keiser had built a 38-12 advantage, shooting 49.2% from the field while holding New College to a dismal 26.1%.

Keiser's defensive pressure forced 22 turnovers and converted those mistakes into 33 points. The Seahawks controlled every facet of the game, from the perimeter to the paint to the glass.

Satori Griffin added 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting for the Seahawks, while Caidyn Cannon recorded an impressive double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds while dishing out five assists. Carolina de Domingo contributed eight points and four steals in a stellar all-around effort.

The Seahawks shot an impressive 54.2% from three-point range (13-of-24) as a team and dominated the boards with a 44-24 rebounding advantage. Keiser's offensive efficiency and defensive intensity never wavered across all four quarters.

The 58-point margin of victory matched Keiser's largest of the season, and the 27 points allowed represented the program's best defensive output of the year.
