Keiser women's tennis released their 2026 spring schedule on Friday. The Seahawks are set to play 20 matches this spring, including four home matches at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, Fla. Keiser will face six NCAA Division II teams and eight NAIA opponents this spring.
The number one ranked player in the NAIA, Violet Apisah, returns for another year after claiming her third singles national championship at the ITA Cup in the fall. Apisah became the first women's player in ITA Cup history to win the singles title three times. In doubles play, Violet and Patricia Apisah advanced to the championship match after a dominant run through the bracket. Joining the sisters in the spring will be Alexandra Melnikova who went 6-2 in doubles in the fall including a finals appearance at the ITA Regional Tournament. The Seahawks will also have a few newcomers ready to make their mark on this 2026 squad.
Head Coach Daniel Finn had this to say about the schedule: "Excited to get the year started. When you look up and down our schedule, it's littered with quality opponents and opportunities. This year is no different than past. The ladies will play difficult matches day in and day out and are excited to take it one match at a time. Every match this year will bring its own story and now it's our job to write the chapters."
