The Keiser University men's indoor track & field team returns to action this weekend at the RADD Sports College Invitational, a two-day meet hosted Friday, January 23, and Saturday, January 24, in Gainesville, Florida.
The Seahawks enter the meet building off a productive opening weekend at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, where Keiser recorded multiple top-five finishes across the distance, hurdles, and throws. With the early-season rust shaken off, this weekend provides another key opportunity for the Seahawks to chase personal bests and national qualifying marks.
The distance group will again be a focal point, led by Jesse Songo, who turned in top-four finishes in both the 1000 meters and 3000 meters in the season opener. Adrian Rivadulla adds depth in the mile, while the hurdles group looks to continue progressing behind Rameau Estime.
In the field events, Casey Wood anchors the throws after opening the season with a second-place finish in the shot put. As the season progresses, Keiser will look to build consistency across all disciplines while continuing to stack strong marks early in the indoor campaign.
With two days of competition ahead, the Seahawks will look to capitalize on multiple chances to improve marks and position themselves favorably for the postseason.
