For the third straight year, the Keiser Seahawks have been picked as the favorite to claim the Sun Conference title; the league announced on Tuesday. The 2026 Sun Conference Preseason Flag Football Coaches' Poll was voted on by the conference's 10 head coaches.
 
The Seahawks are coming off a 2025 season which saw a school-record in total wins (20) while the Seahawks won their second straight Sun Conference Tournament title. 
 
Advancing to the NAIA National Championship Game in 2025, the Seahawks recorded a school-record 10 all-conference honors along with the SUN Defensive Player of the Year. Keiser outscored its opponents, 1,008-139, shutting out 12 teams. Leading the nation in scoring, Keiser set the school record for total offense (6,012) while allowing just 5.3 points per game (No. 1 in the NAIA).

Top of the League

• The Seahawks totaled 80 points, including eight first-place votes to finish atop the preseason poll
• Warner earned 69 points for place second which included one first-place vote
• St. Thomas was selected to finish third with 66 points, including the final first-place vote to round out the poll's top three spots
