No. 3 Keiser Seahawks opens postseason play on Thursday morning with a high-stakes matchup against No. 6 Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes in the NAIA National Invitational Tournament at IMG Academy. Kickoff is set for 10 a.m. on May 7 as the Seahawks look to make a deep run in the three-day national event.
Keiser enters the double-elimination tournament with one of the most explosive and balanced attacks in the country. The Seahawks are averaging 37.7 points per game while allowing just 11.1, showcasing dominance on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Keiser has piled up 5,182 total yards this season, including an impressive 4,939 through the air, averaging over 308 passing yards per contest.
At the center of that attack is NAIA All-American quarterback Ava Wallace, who has delivered a standout campaign. Wallace has completed 73.7% of her passes (393-for-533) for 4,137 yards and 67 touchdowns, leading an offense that has produced 80 passing scores overall. Her efficiency and decision-making have been key, as Keiser has thrown just 17 interceptions across 646 attempts.
Wallace's receiving corps has been equally dynamic, featuring multiple high-impact playmakers. NAIA All-American Dakota Moberg leads the group with 76 receptions for 1,052 yards and 15 touchdowns, while NAIA All-American Ashlea Klam has added 814 yards and a team-high 18 receiving scores. Tremesha Harris (888 yards, 12 TDs) and NAIA All-American Sophia Caprio (546 yards, 12 TDs) provide additional depth, giving the Seahawks one of the deepest aerial units in the tournament.
Defensively, Keiser has been just as dominant. The Seahawks have forced 36 interceptions and limited opponents to just 21 passing touchdowns all season. Moberg anchors the defense with 127 total tackles and eight interceptions, while Hannah Jayes has added 76 tackles and six sacks. Klam (12 interceptions) and Harris (four interceptions, 70 tackles) further highlight a ball-hawking secondary that thrives on creating turnovers.
Keiser's efficiency extends to situational football as well. The Seahawks have converted nearly 49% of their third downs and an impressive 67% of their fourth-down attempts. In the red zone, they have been nearly automatic, scoring touchdowns on all 70 of their trips inside the 20-yard line.
