Caidyn Cannon delivered a career-high 21 points to lead Keiser to a commanding 65-42 victory over Webber International on Friday afternoon at the Sabbagh Athletic Center.
The Seahawks improved to 12-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play, while the Warriors dropped to 6-9 and 1-4 in league action.
Cannon was efficient from the field, shooting 6-of-11 while converting 9-of-13 from the free-throw line. She added eight rebounds, four steals, and a block in 32 minutes of action, providing a complete performance on both ends of the floor.
Jasmyn Hale recorded a double-double off the bench with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while also contributing two steals.
Satori Griffin added 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, along with five rebounds.
Carolina de Domingo orchestrated the offense masterfully, dishing out seven assists without attempting a single shot. The guard also contributed three steals and played tenacious defense in 29 minutes.
Avrie Schmidt chipped in 14 points, with nine coming in a dominant fourth quarter. Her 4-of-4 shooting in the final period helped Keiser pull away for good.
After Webber International took an early 16-12 lead after the first quarter, Keiser's defense clamped down. The Warriors managed just six points in the second quarter as the Seahawks took a 23-22 halftime advantage.
Keiser dominated the second half, outscoring Webber 42-20 over the final 20 minutes. The Seahawks' 26-point fourth quarter sealed the victory, as they built their largest lead of 25 points in the closing seconds.
Renae Brant led Webber International with 13 points, while Sophya Barreiro added nine points off the bench. Jaiden Ross posted eight points, seven rebounds, and three blocks in 36 minutes.
Keiser forced 16 turnovers while committing 17, and dominated the glass 43-27. The Seahawks also held a significant advantage in points in the paint, 26-14.
