The Keiser volleyball team begins Sun Conference play this weekend against Warner, with a 2:00 p.m. start time in the Student Life Center tomorrow.
The Seahawks did not see any game action last week as they prepared for conference play. At the end of August, Keiser wrapped up the Palm Beach Juniors Round Robin with a strong showing on their home court, earning a straight-set sweep in their opening match before falling in a hard-fought contest later in the afternoon, leaving the team with a 4-4 record on the season.
Top performers to watch include setter Mallory Dills, who leads the team with 234 assists; outside hitter Cece Worsham, who leads the team with 63 kills; and senior libero Faith Marquis, who leads with 153 digs and 11 service aces. Three Seahawks have reached double digits in blocks, highlighted by freshman Aubree Valcourt with 15.0.
