The 2025 Academic All-American Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), were announced on Tuesday. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. For her achievements on and off the field,
Lizzy Small has been honored as a Second Team Academic All-American. Small becomes the first Academic All-American in program history.
Lizzy Small, Fourth Year, P/DH Sarasota, Fla.
- Attained a 3.85 GPA while earning her degree in Criminal Justice
- Small was named Academic All-Sun Conference and CSC Academic All-District this offseason
- Played and started in 53 games
- Batted .309 with 46 hits, eight doubles, two triples, and 35 RBI
- 4-4 on stolen base attempts
- Scored 18 runs
- Pitched 99.2 innings with 52 strikeouts
- Recorded five putouts and 18 assists
