(rv) Keiser softball ended their season today in the elimination bracket of NAIA Regionals. The Seahawks fought hard versus their sixth ranked opponent of the season, but were only able to muster three hits, ultimately falling 7-0 to the No. 2 seeded Cougars. Keiser concludes the season with program records for wins, (39) stolen bases, (133) ERA, (2.43) strikeouts, (185) and innings pitched. (365.1)

Pitchers of Record: W: Strand (17-5) L: Small (9-7)
- Lizzy Small pitched five innings, striking out one batter (78 pitches) Small ends her Keiser tenure in possession of the program career records for innings pitched, (569) wins, (52) strikeouts, (251) and ERA (2.52)
- Mackenzie Masternak pitched one inning in relief of Small; (20 pitches) she ends the year with the lowest season ERA in program history (1.85)
- Bridget Dunham went 2-3 in her final collegiate game
- In addition to her pitching efforts, Lizzy Small added one more hit to her Keiser career record (180)

The Seahawks were only down 3-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth, but a Cougar 3 RBI triple doubled the deficit
KU 0, SXU 1
- The Cougars took the early lead with a sac-fly to right field
KU 0, SXU 3
- Saint Xavier added two more runs with a 2 RBI single
KU 0, SXU 7
- SXU's Fiona Crane doubled the Cougar lead with a bases-clearing triple
- The Cougars scored the final run of the game with a sac-bunt

"While our season did not end the way we wanted, I am still very proud of this team and all they accomplished," said head coach
John Pryor. "We set a program record in wins for the second straight year, and took Keiser softball to the NAIA Tournament for the first time. The future is very bright for this program, and I can't wait for next season."
