Despite a spirited comeback in the seventh inning, the (rv) Seahawks came up just short in a hard-fought 6-4 loss to Webber International on Sunday afternoon in the Sun Conference Championship. Originally scheduled for 11:00 a.m., first pitch was delayed to 1:15 p.m. due to heavy morning rain. After falling behind early, Keiser roared back with a four-run seventh inning, highlighted by Conference Player of the Year Simon Grinberg's clutch two-run homer that tied the game.

On the mound, Zack Robinson got the start, allowing three earned runs in just one inning of work. Cole Glassburn made an apperance throwing two innings of one-run ball. Jake Molloy also threw a clean inning in relief, while Noah Eatman (2-2) went five innings and allowed one earned run but ultimately took the loss.

At the plate, Simon Grinberg led the charge with a 3-for-4 day, including his game-tying homer. Matthew Nichols also contributed with a key RBI single in the seventh.
