No. 25 Keiser Baseball hammered the ball in today's doubleheader against New College of Florida, winning both games handily. In the first matchup, Keiser triumphed 8-3 behind Bastyan Hernandez's strong pitching. The Seahawks capitalized on a balanced offensive attack, including multiple RBI from Matthew Nichols. New College of Florida put up a small fight, scoring all three of their runs in the later innings, but the Seahawks kept the Mighty Banyans off the board furthering damage.
In the game two, Keiser exploded for 15 runs, led by powerful performances from Landon Lowe, Palmer Hutchison and Andrew Almendarez who all homered. The Seahawks scored across multiple innings with contributions from nearly every batter in the lineup. Despite New College of Florida's two-run rally in the sixth, Keiser's pitching staff, including Jake Molloy's 5.1 shutout innings, kept New College off the board until the sixth and seventh innings.
On the pitching side, four pitchers posted a 0.00 ERA with appearances from Duke Coborn, Noah Eatman, Carson Hawkes and Quinten Romo.
