Coach's Corner

When asked about today's result, Head Coach Daniel Finn had this to say: "Tough one today. Credit to Barry for fighting till the end and finding a way. The girls competed with what they had all the way till the end, but today it wasn't enough. Matches like this are decided in the big moments and the points didn't fall our way today. We will be better and learn from this one and take it with us getting ready for the postseason."

On the preparation for the postseason, "Work hard. Period. We've had a great season so far, but we have to make sure we keep our heads down and work as hard as possible to prepare to be ready both in the conference tournament and nationals. The thing with postseason play is that nothing you've done up to that point really matters anymore. You have to go out and prove it again and again each day, and that's what we will start trying to do as soon as tomorrow."

Up Next

The Seahawks will turn their attention to the Sun Conference Tournament in Brunswick, Ga. on April 24-25. Keiser will be the top seed and play the winner of St. Thomas vs Florida National on Thursday, April 24 at 10:30 a.m.
