The Keiser flag football team closed out the 2025 regular season with a 65-0 shutout victory over the Florida Memorial Lions on Saturday. The win marked the team's 14th of the season and the ninth shutout of an opponent in 2025.

Keiser used a 39-point second quarter to cruise to the blowout victory. Offensively, the Seahawks scored six touchdowns while the KU defense accounted for three themselves.

Quarterback Haylie Young tossed four touchdowns on six completions for 151 yards. With today's performance, Young reached the 3,000-yard passing plateau for the season (the fourth time a KU quarterback has accomplished this feat). Valentina Fanetti completed 16-of-21 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns as well. Freshman Janasia Wilson posted a game-high eight catches for 94 yards. Sophomore Ashlea Klam had a pair of receiving catches for a combined 78 yards. Both receptions resulted in touchdowns.

The Keiser defense held the Lions to 99 yards of total offense with three interceptions and three sacks. All three picks took place in the second quarter - each returned for a touchdown. Adrianna Cavalotti tallied her school-record seventh pick-six of the year with a 17-yard return. Klam scored while tying the school record for interceptions in a season (11) while Sa'mya Bryant produced the 18th interception of her Keiser career. Bryant also became the first player in Keiser history to reach 300 flag pulls in a career. The Seahawks linebacker registered five flag pulls on Saturday to record 303 for her career.

With the win, Keiser improves to 10-0 all-time versus the Lions, out-scoring FMU, 383-25.
