The Keiser flag football team welcomes first-time foe Siena Height to the KU Multi-Purpose Field on Thursday as the Seahawks and Saints square off at 4:00 PM.
The Seahawks are coming off a 34-7 win over St. Thomas last weekend. Quarterback
Haylie Young completed 23-of-28 passes for 262 yards and four passing touchdowns. Five different Seahawks found hte endzone on Saturday (
Janasia Wilson,
Kennedy Foster,
Chloe Griffin,
Brenna Ramirez, and
Hanna Lencioni-Gonzalez).
Sophia Caprio led all Keiser receivers with 10 catches for 79 yards.
Defensively, Keiser was led by linebacker
Sa'mya Bryant, who posted a team-high seven flag pulls with one sack and two interceptions. With seven flag pulls in the game, Bryant became the first player in program history to record 250 career flag pulls. Also recoding picks were Foster,
Sarah Villarreal, and
Ashlea Klam.
Keiser is looking to improve to 4-0 for the third time in program history.
