In their first home match of the season, No. 1 Keiser women's tennis took care of business, defeating Division II Hillsdale 7-0. The Seahawks swept their way through doubles with 6-0, 6-1, and 6-2 results. In singles, KU showed no sign of slowing down, winning on all six courts in under an hour and a half.
- P. Apisah was first through singles on the day, earning a quick 6-2, 6-0 win on court six
- Mercante followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win on court four to make it 3-0
- No. 6 de Mooij and Vidanovic finished their matches on courts three and five within minutes of each other as the Seahawks continued to roll
- No. 1 V. Apisah and No. 5 Cato Tangkau closed out the day with wins on courts one and two, completing the 7-0 sweep
When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Daniel Finn had this to say: "Happy with how the girls came out and took care of business. Doubles went smooth and they continued with their focus into their singles matches. Always nice to get on and off the courts quickly as we look ahead to our next match."
Keiser's next match is set for Saturday at home against No. 19 SCAD Atlanta. First serve from Patch Reef Park is set for 2:00 p.m.
