In one of the season's most remarkable comeback victories, the (RV) Keiser men's basketball team defeated the Southeastern Fire in a thrilling 76-73 showdown at the Student Life Center. The Seahawks erased a 26-point deficit to secure the victory. Calvin Sirmans delivered an outstanding performance, pouring in 28 points and recording four steals. Defensive standout Vincent Miszkiewicz contributed 16 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to help seal the win over Southeastern.

Keiser will hit the road to face Coastal Georgia on Monday, Feb. 10, with tipoff set for 6:00 PM in Brunswick, Ga.

A wild 16-point run ignited the Seahawks' comeback when Jackson Slater stole the ball from the Fire and finished with a quick basket in the paint, allowing Keiser to seize the lead.

  • The Seahawks took the lead with a five-point run, highlighted by a three-pointer from Chris Roth
  • Southeastern responded with an 11-point streak, knocking down three consecutive three-pointers, prompting a Seahawks timeout (7-13; 14:52)
  • The Fire continued their hot shooting, racking up 21 points on five three-pointers, extending their lead to a commanding 36-14
  • Free throws from Vincent Miszkiewicz closed out the scoring for the Seahawks in the first half


Second Half
Keiser 76, Southeastern 74
  • Keiser intensified their play in the second half, starting with a 10-point surge led by Vincent Miszkiewicz, who scored eight points, including a dunk (17:22; 30-46)
  • Calvin Sirmans followed with three consecutive layups, cutting the Fire's lead to nine
  • Southeastern continued to showcase their three-point shooting, extending the lead with 7:57 remaining on the game clock
  • Keiser fired back with a 16-point run, with key buckets from Miszkiewicz, Jackson Slater, and Sirmans, taking the lead 68-66 with 3:35 to go
  • With two seconds left, a foul was called on Keiser, but Southeastern made only two of their three free throws
