No. 1 Keiser men's lacrosse dominated their season opener on Saturday morning at home against the Point Skyhawks, 19-4. Eleven different Seahawks found the back of the net, led by
JP Prather who tallied four.
Marek Albiero also tallied a hat-trick in the game with three goals. The Seahawks defense, held the Skyhawks to four goals, shutting them down completely in the fourth.
Shane Cassidy collected a career-high five caused-turnovers, while also collecting three ground balls. All four Keiser goalies saw action in the net today; collectively earning 10 saves.
Keiser has a quick turnaround as they face NCAA Division III Farmingdale State College tomorrow. Opening face-off from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for noon.

- Prather scored first once again to open up the second quarter with 13:10 remaining
- After a face-off win, Chris Rayburn was quick to find the back of the net with 11:34 on the clock
- Tim Manly Jr. collected his first Seahawk goal at the nine-and-a-half-minute mark
- The Skyhawks ended their drought with a goal from Shaun McLaughlin, the score was 11-1 with 6:18 left to go before the half
Keiser 16, Point 4
- Ryan Stowell netted his first career goal with an assist from Kegan Hufford to start the third quarter
- Point found the back of the net with a goal from Thomas Van Alstine to make it 14-3
- Hufford was quick to answer with a goal of his own with 9:41 left to go
- After Point's Rodney Oakley scored with 7:36 on the clock, the Seahawks and Skyhawks exchanged shots for the remainder of the quarter
Keiser 19, Point 4
- Three Sehawks scored in the fourth within a span of three minutes to close out the game
- Zach Crotwell collected his first of the season in the first 16 seconds of the fourth
- Keiser moves to 1-0 in the regular season
- This marks their first conference win for 2025
- KU moves to 7-0 all-time against Point
- JP Prather tied his career high of four goals, at a 50% shot percentage
- Lucas Green saved all four shots he faced
- Kolby Broxton went four for four at the face-off, while Rayburn collected a game-high of five
- With his five caused turnovers, Shane Cassidy earned a new career high
- Freshman Ryan Stowell scored his first two career-goals today
- First year Seahawk Kyle Davis collected his first assist today with a goal from Donovan Barnshaw
- All four KU goalies saw action in the net today
