Crossovers, step-backs, lobs, and slams led Keiser men's basketball to its tenth win of the season, downing Olivet Nazarene 79-63 on Thursday afternoon at the Student Life Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Seahawks improved to 10-1 overall and extended their perfect home record to 8-0 with another dominant second-half performance.

The game started competitively as both teams felt each other out in the opening minutes. Keiser grabbed an early 10-2 advantage behind a steal and slam by Camerin James, and then brought it to 15-7 when Jaylen Lee put his defender on skates with a nasty step-back jumper. On the ensuing Keiser possession, Lee did it again from three-point range before he found James on a fast break alley-oop to put the Seahawks up 10. The Tigers closed the gap just before the break but Braylen Meredith hit a jumper with six seconds left to play in the half to give KU a 35-31 advantage.

After some back and forth play to begin the second, Keiser took control with a pair of buckets by Loghan Downie before Nadir Myers connected from three to give Keiser an 11-point lead. James thought one highlight wasn't enough for the evening and with five minutes to play, threw down a thunderous dunk over two defenders to put Keiser up 66-56. A minute later he found Downie on the fast break who had a slam of his own to give the Seahawks the momentum late in the game. Myers had the dagger with just over a minute left, hitting a three to put the Seahawks up by 16.

Myers was nothing short of spectacular in the second half, erupting for 16 of his game-high 19 points after the break. The guard was unconscious from beyond the arc, draining 5-of-6 three-point attempts in the period. James dominated the glass with a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with 14 points, three assists, and two steals in 40 minutes of action. Lee added 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting while Downie contributed 10 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Baldwin anchored the defense with four blocks and six rebounds, altering numerous shots in the paint.

Keiser will have one final game before the new year on Tuesday, December 30 against Florida College. Tipoff from the Sudent Life Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for 6:00 p.m.
