Seahawks Sweep Florida Memorial on Senior Night, 3-0

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Keiser Seahawks wrapped up their home schedule in style Wednesday evening, sweeping Florida Memorial 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-16) inside the Student Life Center. Before first serve, Head Coach Dan Bergren recognized the Seahawks' 2025 senior class — Abby Lester, Faith Marquis, Frederica Silva, and Isabella Steffel — for their leadership and contributions to the program.

Keiser (12-11, 7-7 SUN) delivered one of its most efficient performances of the season, posting a .278 hitting percentage while holding the Lions (1-22, 1-12 SUN) to -.054. The Seahawks tallied 37 kills, 32 assists, six service aces, and 45 digs in the straight-set victory.

Senior Frederica Silva powered the offense with 10 kills on a .350 clip, while Aubree Valcourt followed with eight kills and three block assists. Fellow seniors Abby Lester and Isabella Steffel added six and three kills, respectively, with Steffel contributing at the net defensively. Makenzi Bennett was solid all-around with five kills, 12 digs, and two aces, while setter Mallory Dills paced the offense with 25 assists and a block assist.

Keiser took control early in the opening set, using a pair of service aces from Paryss Betts and three kills from Silva to pull away midway through the frame. The Seahawks finished the set on a 10–2 run, closing it out 25–11 behind strong defense and efficient side-outs.

The second set followed a similar rhythm, as the Seahawks opened on a 5–0 run behind back-to-back kills from Valcourt and Silva. Keiser never trailed, hitting an impressive .448 while limiting FMU to just seven kills. Bennett and Lester combined for seven points in the frame as the Seahawks cruised to another 25–11 win.

In the final set, Florida Memorial battled early before Keiser's seniors took charge down the stretch. Silva tallied four kills in the closing frame, and Marquis delivered a service ace to extend the lead to double digits. Valcourt's final swing sealed the 25–16 win and capped off a memorable Senior Night sweep.

With the victory, the Seahawks improved to 12-11 overall and 7-7 in conference play, closing out their home schedule with back-to-back wins.
