The No. 2-ranked Keiser Seahawks won their 24
th straight Sun Conference game with a 42-7 win at Ave Maria on Saturday night.
Keiser, which produced 532 yards of total offense, reached the 40-point plateau for the fifth time this season. Led by running back
Jaden Miller, the Seahawks posted 248 yards on the ground with five rushing touchdowns. Miller finished the night with 126 yards on 15 carries, including three rushing scores.
In the passing game,
Shea Spencer completed 24-of-28 passes for 274 yards and one touchdown. Elisah Edwards led the team with 91 yards receiving on five catches, while
Dallas Desouza had a team-high seven catches for 74 yards.
Maurico Porcha caught the lone touchdown pass of the game (five yards).
Defensively, the Seahawks held the Gyrenes to 230 yards of total offense (4.8 yards per play). The Seahawks defensive unit had 5.0 tackles for loss and two sacks. Saturday marked the fifth time this season Keiser has held the opposition to 250 yards of total offense or less.
With the win, Keiser improved to 7-1 all-time versus Ave Maria.
