Keiser men's basketball dropped its season opener Friday night, falling 73-71 on the road against No. 22 Life at the Eagles' Nest in Marietta, Georgia. The Seahawks trailed 32-27 at halftime but mounted a strong second-half effort, outscoring the Running Eagles 23-11 in the final six minutes. Despite the surge, late free throw shooting by the Running Eagles allowed them to hold on. Braylen Meredith led Keiser with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting, while Loghan Downie matched him with 15 points and six rebounds. Jaylen Lee added 11 points and three assists, and Camerin James contributed nine points, six rebounds, and two assists.
