No. 1 Women's Soccer Closes Out Road Schedule with 2-0 Win over Webber Int'l

No. 1 Keiser women's soccer earned another Sun Conference win on Saturday afternoon in Babson Park, Fla. After a scoreless first half, the Seahawks came alive in the final 45 minutes. Lauren Riley put Keiser on the board in the 65th minute, slotting home a finish off a pass from Maria Vilhena. Haley Miller added an insurance goal in the 89th minute, converting after a setup from Riley to seal the win. Madison Priebe posted her sixth shutout of the season, recording three saves across 90 minutes in goal.

The Seahawks return home for the regular season finale on Wednesday, October 29 against Florida Memorial. Kickoff from Arrigo-Vecellio

  • An interception deep in Webber territory by Vilhena turned into an attack for Keiser as she sent a through ball to Riley who sent the keeper the wrong way to put Keiser on the board in the 65th minute
  • In the 89th minute, Riley ran down the wing and tried a cross that was blocked, but she would collect it and cross again to Miller who blasted a shot into the upper left corner of the net to give the Seahawks insurance
