No. 3 Keiser women's soccer closed out the regular season in dominant fashion Wednesday morning, rolling past Florida Memorial 6-0 at Arrigo-Vecellio Field. Haley Miller opened the scoring in the 25th minute, slotting home her fourth goal of the season to put Keiser in front. Just two minutes later, Maria Vilhena doubled the advantage by converting a penalty kick, giving the Seahawks a 2-0 lead heading into halftime. Lauren Riley made it 3-0 in the 49th minute, then Vilhena struck again ten minutes later for her second goal of the day. Ruby Vernon joined the scoring moments later, finding the back of the net in the 60th minute to push the lead to five. Valeria Schiavo capped the scoring in the 84th minute, finishing a setup from Karine Ørud and Elsa Andreason.
After the game, the Seahawks honored their seven seniors (Linnea Andreason, Maria Harley, Lara Noe, Madison Priebe, Lauren Riley, Aniya Small, and Maria Vilhena). for all of their accomplishments with the program.
- In the 25th minute, Miller attempted to play a pass through, but it caused two defenders to hit the ground, which allowed Miller to get back on the ball and deliver a strike off the post and in
- Just over a minute later, Blanca Bächi attempted a shot that would go off the hand of a defender for a penalty. Vilhena stepped forward and sent the keeper the wrong way to make it 2-0
- Another deflection in the 49th minute led to a goal for Riley as she made it 3-0
- A ball played through from the midfield pulled the Lions' keeper out of the box, but Riley got there first, passing it to Vilhena for the open-net goal
- One minute later, a give-and-go between Riley and Vilhena sent Vilhena through, who found Vernon at the edge of the box for one touch and a finish on her left foot
- The final goal of the game came in the 85th minute when Ørud played a ball down the wing to Schiavo, who fired from the right edge of the box and snuck it into the bottom corner of the net
- Keiser finishes the regular season with a 14-2-1 overall record
- The Seahawks currently sit first in the Sun Conference standings but will have to wait for results from tonight to decide the final positioning
- Keiser's six goals are tied for the third-most goals scored this season for KU
- For Miller, it was just her fourth goal of the season and second game winner
- She has now tallied goals in three consecutive games
- With two more goals today, Vilhena's total now moves to 11 on the year
- Additionally, with her assist, she has now recorded an assist in seven consecutive games, the most by a Seahawk in program history
- Riley scored her 45th goal of her career to put her in sole possession of fifth-most goals in program history
- Vernon and Schiavo wrapped up the scoring with their third and second goals of the season
- In goal, Madison Priebe got the start and the win before being replaced by Mio Tanaka in the 69th minute
- The shutout was the ninth of the season for the Keiser defense

The Seahawks will wait to find out what seed they will hold in the Sun Conference Tournament, as they will be guaranteed to host a semifinal game on Saturday, November 8.
