The Keiser women's basketball team was edged out tonight in Lakeland, Fla., suffering an 11-point loss on the road. The defeat brings the Seahawks' record to 8-7 and drops them to 2-2 in conference play. In tonight's action, three Seahawks scored in double figures, with Elliana Schaefer leading the way with 19 points and four assists, both team highs.
The Seahawks will return to action this Saturday for the annual 'We Back Pat' game against Webber International in the Student Life Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Fire's nine-point run in the second quarter edged out the Seahawks, as they held Keiser to just eight points.
