No. 15 Keiser men's basketball relied on its defense throughout their 76-65 win over Florida College on Tuesday night at home. The Seahawks allowed just 65 points to a team that scored 98 their last time out and forced a season-high 19 turnovers in the game. Leading the defensive effort was
Vincent Miszkiewicz who had 13 rebounds and a career-high seven blocks.
Calvin Sirmans did most of his work in the second half with 14 points after the break to give him a team-leading 18 points along with nine assists.
Cameron Stitt recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds on the night.
Keiser will begin a two-game stretch away from home on Saturday, facing the New College of Florida Mighty Banyans at the Hal Chasey Gymnasium in Sarasota, Fla. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
After the Falcons drew within 12, Sirmans lined up from the top of the key and hit a three to give Keiser a 15-point lead with two and a half minutes remaining.

- Cameron Stitt had an early five points for KU before a block by Vincent Miszkiewicz took the game into its first media timeout with 14:25 on the clock

- Florida College took their first lead since the 19:21 mark in the first half with a three by Malik Beauford 14 seconds into the second
- Keiser would take the momentum back with a 10-5 run capped by a Calvin Sirmans to Miszkiewicz alley-oop to put KU back in front 40-38
- Five minutes later, the two would connect again to put the Seahawks up by nine and send the Student Life Center into a frenzy
- A pair of threes by Slater and Sirmans would put the Seahawks up by 10 before another alley-oop from Sirmans to Miszkiewicz would give Keiser a 14-point lead with 8:03 on the clock
- Keiser would close out the game from the free throw line, keeping the Falcons at arm's length and hanging on for the 76-65 win
