It was far from the prettiest win of the season for No. 15 Keiser men's basketball, but they ended the day back in the win column, defeating St. Thomas 70-61 on the road in Miami Gardens. The Seahawks trailed going into the second half, but the defensive adjustments rang true as they allowed just 26 points by the Bobcats after the break. It was a second-half surge for
Calvin Sirmans as well, as he scored all 12 of his points in the final 20 minutes of the contest.
Chris Roth was the leading scorer for KU on the day with five threes and a total of 17 points in the game.
Albert Dennis and
Jonathan Paul also surpassed the double-digit mark in points with 11 and 10, respectively.
Keiser returns home for their final non-conference game of the regular season with a matchup against Florida College on Tuesday, January 28. Tipoff from the Student Life Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. is set for 7:30 p.m.
