- St. Thomas had the first chance of the game but Gabi Cimino's shot was blocked by Julia Forslund, and the ensuing corner kick would cause no danger
- In the seventh minute, Emilia Nilsson had a golden opportunity, but her header would be saved by Isabella Penaranda
- Lauren Riley nearly broke the tie in the 25th minute as she cut back to the middle, but the defender was able to make-up ground and block the shot

- The remainder of the game was hard fought, with both teams picking up a yellow card and multiple fouls
- The final action of the contest would be Rouanet jumping on a long pass from the Bobcats as time expired, clashing with an STU player
- Keiser continues their hot start, moving to 7-0 on the year
