The Keiser flag football team made quick work of it pool-play competition, out-scoring them 95-12 while advancing to the NAIA Quarterfinals on Thursday.
For the second time in pool play action (2-0 in 2022), the Seahawks cruised through their opening round competition, defeating Midland, 43-6, and downing Baker, 52-6.
The Seahawks, who were seeded third after the opening round (based on overall record and points allowed), will now turn their attention to a familiar face in Sun Conference foe St. Thomas. The Seahawks and Bobcats will square off on Thursday with the winner in line to take on the Thomas Night Hawks in the semifinals on Friday.

- After the Warriors got on the board first, Keiser tied the contest with a score by Ashlea Klam from Haylie Young as the game remained tied after 12 minutes of action.
- The touchdown by the Warriors was their first versus the Seahawks in the series history (third overall meeting).
Keiser 19, Midland 6
- Emma Wagenman broke through two blockers to sack Midland's quarterback, forcing the Warriors to punt.
- On the ensuing possession, the Seahawks took the lead with a a touchdown pass from Jazmin Rhoden to Brenna Ramirez.
- The extra point was no good as Keiser led 12-6.
- Keiser had the ball on third-and-goal when Valentina Fanetti connected with Kennedy Foster for the score.
- With the made extra point, the Seahawks held a 19-6 lead going into halftime.
Keiser 27, Midland 6
- Fanetti scored her second TD of the game this time on the ground, extending the Seahawk's lead to 19 (27-6).
Keiser 43, Midland 6
- Klam grabbed her second touchdown pass of the game to give the Seahawks a 33-6 lead.
- The Seahawks converted the two-point conversion (by Foster) to make the score 35-6 with 5:40 left in the game.
- Keiser added one more score with six seconds left on the game clock as Rhoden found Foster in the endzone.
- Another successful two-point play gave Keiser a 43-6 lead.

- The Seahawks marched down the field on their first drive as Jazmin Rhoden connected with Brianna Hernandez-Silva for the score.
- Chloe Griffin secured the point after attempt as Keiser led, 7-0.
- Ashlea Klam extended the Keiser lead, turning a five-yard pass at the 40 into six more points for the Seahawks.
Keiser 33, Baker 0
- Haylie Young found Adriana Rodriguez over the middle for the score, pushing Keiser's lead to 19 with 9:20 left in the third.
- Kennedy Foster added six more points for the season on a pick-six with 9:00 on the game clock.
- A successful two-point try gave the Seahawks a 27-0 lead.
- Rhoden connected with Klam for the freshman's second TD catch of the game as Keiser led 33-0 with six second left in the half.
Keiser 39, Baker 0
- Rhoden hit fellow quarterback Young for a long touchdown, giving Keiser a 39-0 advantage.
Keiser 52, Baker 6
- The Wildcats ruined Keiser's bid for the team's eighth shutout of the season, getting on the board to cut Keiser's lead to 39-6.
- The Seahawks added two more scores as Keiser reached the 50-point plateau for the sixth time this season.
The Seahawks will face the St. Thomas Bobcats in the NAIA Quarterfinals on Thursday, May 9. Game time from Mercedes-Benz Stadium is set for 12:30 PM.
