(rv) Baseball eliminated the No. 12-seed Warriors of Jessup, 13-10, in game three of the NAIA Championship tournament. Jhamante Woods crushed a three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth to secure the victory.

  • The Seahawks are now 33-22 in the season. 
  • The Seahawks improve to 12-10 record all-time in the Opening Round of the NAIA Baseball Tournament.
  • The Seahawks are now 5-4 in consolation games in the tournament all-time.

  • Jessup took the lead at the top of the second, driving in three runs off a sacrifice ground-out, a single and a solo home run.

  • Keiser shut down Jessup in the top of the ninth with a fly-out to Kenny Di Clemente and a ground-out to Cam Verrier.
  • Jhamante Woods fielded a hot grounder and quickly tossed it to Tanner Goswick for the final out of the game.
  • Goswick earned his first win of the season, pitching three innings.
