The Keiser flag football team claimed the 2024 Sun Conference Regular Season title with a 26-12 win at Warner on Thursday. The Seahawks jumped out to a 26-0 lead in the first half thanks to four passing touchdowns by Jazmin Rhoden. Four different Seahawks recorded touchdowns on Thursday - Chloe GriffinBrianna Hernandez-SilvaBrenna Ramirez, and Ashlea Klam - as Keiser won its eighth straight contest. 

With the win, Keiser improved to 9-0 all-time versus the Royals (2-0 all-time in Lake Wales) and remains unbeaten in league action. On the year, Keiser has out-scored the opposition, 462-63, this season. 

As the SUN Regular Season Champions (the second time in program history), Keiser will host the upcoming Sun Conference Tournament April 25-27. 
 

First Quarter
Keiser 13, Warner 0
  • The Seahawks got things started in the first with a 36-yard touchdown pass for Jazmin Rhoden.
  • The Keiser signal caller tossed a pass to Adriana Rodriguez who pitched the ball to Chloe Griffin for the score. 
  • Following a success extra-point attempt, Keiser led, 7-0, with 8:31 left in the first.
  • The Seahawks extended their lead as Rhoden connected with Brianna Hernandez-Silva for a one-yard score.
  • The missed extra point made it 13-0 with 3:10 on the game clock.

Second Quarter
Keiser 26, Warner 0
  • Rhoden recorded her third passing touchdown of the game with a 10-yard toss to Brenna Ramirez.
  • The made extra point pushed Keiser's lead to 20-0 with 6:01 left in the half.
  • Kennedy Foster picked off Shay Crooks to give Keiser the ball back in Warner territory with 3:10 on the game clock.
  • The turnover set up a touchdown pass from Rhoden to Ashlea Klam (one-yard) giving KU a 26-0 lead (00:42).
  • Klam closed out the half forcing the second interception by Crooks with 32 seconds remaining.

Third Quarter

Keiser 26, Warner 6
  • The Royals got on the board with a touchdowns pass Shay Crooks to Ana Vincensini with 6:10 on the clock.
  • That proved to be the only score of the quarter as Keiser led by 20 with 12:00 left to play.

Fourth Quarter

Keiser 26, Warner 12
  • Warner scores its second touchdown of the game with a three-yard pass from Crooks to Vincensini with 4:27 left in the game.
  • Keiser held the ball for the remaining 4:27 for their eighth straight victory.

Keiser will host the Webber In'l Warriors on Saturday, April 20. Game time is set for 4:00 PM. Prior to the game, Keiser will honor seniors Brianna Hernandez-Silva, Sydney Woodman, and Adriana Rodriguez for their contributions to the Seahawk's program.
