The Keiser flag football team notched their sixth shutout of the season, beating the Running Eagles of Life University in a 66-0 win. Scoring was led by graduate student Brianna Hernandez-Silva who scored three touchdowns on the day. Defensively, the Seahawks totaled five interceptions on the day, marking their second consecutive game with five or more. Linebacker Sydney Woodman marked herself in the record books with her ninth interception of the season breaking the previous school record of eight.

With the win, the Seahawks move to a 10-1 record overall and remain undefeated in SUN Conference play.

  • The Seahawks continued their hot streak on Thursday when quarterback Jazmin Rhoden connected with Brianna Hernandez-Silva for the first Seahawks touchdown of the day.
  • Rhoden found Kennedy Foster in the deep for the two-point conversion for the Seahawks to take the 8-0 lead.
  • With 41 seconds left in the first, Rhoden and Foster teamed up for the second time for a two-yard touchdown.
  • Rhoden and freshman Ashlea Klam secured the two-point conversion for a 16-0 lead heading into the second quarter.

Second Quarter

  • To start the second quarter, Klam showed off her vertical with her fourth interception of the season turning the ball over to the Seahawks.
  • Two minutes into the second, Rhoden and Hernandez-Silva secured a touchdown on a nine-yard pass.
  • Chloe Griffin caught the pass from Rhoden for the two-point conversion for the 24-point lead.
  • 30 seconds later, the defensive leader Sydney Woodman went up for a record-breaking interception and recorded the 17-yard touchdown. The linebacker broke the school record for most in a single season with her ninth of the year.
  • With 2:56 left before halftime, Rhoden and Klam recorded the fifth touchdown of the afternoon with an eight-yard pass.
  • Rhoden and Foster, the duo since flag football started at Keiser, secured the two-point conversion.

  • At 11:55 remaining, Young passed to Chloe Griffin for a six-yard touchdown.
  • Adrianna Cavalotti jumped in on the action for a 32-yard interception and touchdown at 8:50 extending the Seahawk lead to 60 points.
  • The Seahawks scored their final touchdown from Hernandez-Silva receiving a pass from Emma Wagenman with just 10 seconds on the board.
