Coach's Corner

When asked about today's result, Head Coach Daniel Finn had this to say: "I thought the girls did a great job controlling the momentum and playing big in the important moments. The doubles point was huge today. And while we won 5-2, the doubles point made all the difference giving us the early momentum that we needed. I thought we did a much better job than previous matches of executing and coming out strong in doubles. I thought the energy from the girls was great today, and they did a good job of dealing with a fiesty team in extremely hot conditions."

On the message to the team after the last two games, "Just keep competing and be ready for another fight. Our schedule is intentionally built to challenge us with tough matches each and every time we go out. Today was no different and I thought the girls rose to the occasion when things got tough."

On the upcoming slate of games, "Physically, the girls work hard every day on the practice courts and then in the conditioning sessions with Strength and Conditioning Coach Alessandro Cantillo. We know we're prepared, and mentally, it's just about staying focused and competing in the moments that are in front of you."
