The Keiser women's basketball team won their eighth straight at home, downing the Warner Royals, 78-64, on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks, which led for 35:45 in the contest, won their 12th home game of the season and improved to 8-4 in Sun Conference action - one game back from first in the SUN Standings.
Keiser was led by
Elliana Schaefer, who posted her fifth 20-point outing of the season, scoring a career-high 26 points. The native of Castalia, Ohio, also led the team in assists (6) and steals (5).
Elise Ellison recorded her ninth double-double of the season, scoring 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
The Seahawks went on a 26-3 run to close out the first quarter and never looked back.
