Keiser men's basketball moved into sole possession of second place in the Sun Conference Standings with a 77-59 win over Warner on Saturday afternoon. The victory marked the team's fourth straight and improved Keiser to 10-3 at home this season.

A 20-7 run to close out the second half, made a closely contested game into an 18-point win for the Seahawks. Vincent Miszkiewicz notched his 24th double-double of the season with 19 points and 17 boards. Jonathan Paul recorded the first double-double of his Seahawk career, posting 12 points and 13 rebounds while Calvin Sirmans added 19 points and led Keiser with nine assists. Keiser was consistent from the floor, shooting 14-of-33 in both the first and second halves to finish the game 28-of-66 (42.4 percent).


With 5:51 remaining in the game, the Seahawks used a 20-7 run to pull away and close out the game for the team's fourth straight win. Leading by five with 5:51 on the game clock, Albert Dennis hit his first 3-point as a Seahawks to spark the run.

Keiser 33, Warner 27

• The Royals opened the game with a 6-0 run.
• Keiser responded with a 7-0 run of its own capped offby a Jonathan Paul tip in for a 7-6 lead (15:18).
• A 3-pointer by Skyler Scull gave Warner a 15-12 lead with 10:49 left in the first.
• The Seahawks went on a 13-0 run to take a 25-15 lead with 6:29 on the clock.
• Vincent Miszkiewicz produced six points during that run which lasted 3:43.
• A layup by Calvin Sirmans with 1:51 remaining gave Keiser and 11-point lead (33-22).
• Warner scored five straight points to close out the half, 33-27.

Keiser 77, Warner 59

• Keiser maintained its single-digit lead until a made free-throw by Miszkiewicz pushed it to double-digits, 46-36 (13:18).
• Albert Dennis added two more points for the Seahawks, hitting two from the line, 48-36 (12:25). 
• The Royal cut Keiser's lead to three, 48-45, following a 9-0 run with 9:44 left to play.
• Leading by five, 57-52, the Seahawks started a 20-7 run to close out the game sparked by a 3-pointer bay Albert Dennis with 5:51 on the game clock.
• During that run, the Seahawks were led by Dennis and Sirmans, who both registered six points over the last 5:51. 

  

• Keiser improved to 18-7 (8-4 SUN) with the victory.
• With the win, Keiser moves into second place in the Sun Conference Standings - one game back from first-place St. Thomas.
• The Seahawks are now 10-3 at home this season.
