Playing their first game with a ranking next to their name, No. 21 Keiser men's basketball was dominant on Saturday afternoon, defeating Thomas on the road, 82-56. The Seahawks were led by an unlikely pair as
Cameron Stitt and
Chris Roth tied for a team-leading 17 points each. Just behind them was
Calvin Sirmans, who tallied 12 points and led all players with six assists.
Vincent Miszkiewicz only played 22 minutes for KU but did record a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. On the defensive side of the ball, Keiser continues to put a stranglehold on opponents, holding the Night Hawks nearly 30 points below their season average and holding them to just 16 points in the first half.
Keiser will head back to West Palm Beach, Fla. for their first home game since November 26, when they face Hastings on Tuesday, December 17. Tipoff from the Student Life Center is set for 4:00 p.m.
