No. 2 Keiser women's soccer dominated from start to finish on Monday afternoon, defeating Southeastern 4-0 at home in West Palm Beach, Fla. Alicia Rey broke the tie in the 23rd minute off a cross from Georgia Little. Maria Vilhena followed that up eight minutes later after collecting a pass from Maude Rouanet. Ellen Maund and Delfina Lombardi would close out the scoring for KU as the Seahawks will now await their opponent for the Sun Conference Tournament Championship.

Keiser's next game will be on Thursday, November 14 against either No. 14 SCAD or Ave Maria. If SCAD wins, the Seahawks would make the trip up to Hardeeville, S.C. If Ave Maria wins, Keiser would host the Gyrenes at Arrigo-Vecellio Field in West Palm Beach.

How it Happened
  • Kesier was on the front foot early, forcing two saves from SEU keeper Ella Sebree in the first 12 minutes
  • In the 23rd minute, Maria Vilhena chipped the ball over her defender to Goergia Little who crossed it into the box where Alicia Rey finished the opportunity to make it 1-0
  • The Fire got off their first chance in the 30th minute, but Maude Rouanet would make the easy save
  • The Keiser keeper would place the ball down and launch it up field to Vilhena who rainbow flicked it to herself before running forward and beating the keeper with a right-footed shot to make it 2-0
  • In the 35th minute, Southeastern drew a foul from about 10 yards outside of the box. Rebecca Laface would step up to take the shot, curling it around the wall, but Rouanet would dive across the face of the net to make the save
  • With just over a minute left in the half, Delfina Lombardi got on to her right foot and attempted to curl a shot into the right side of the net, but a diving stop from Sebree kept the score at 2-0 going into the break
  • Three minutes into the second half, Lauren Riley broke down the right side of the field before cutting back and finding Ellen Maund at the top of the box who took a couple of steps forward and blasted a ball past the keeper to make it 3-0
  • In the 52nd minute, Riley was through again on the right side, blowing by her opponent and firing a shot at the keeper who was able to get her body in front of the chance
  • With just over 10 minutes left, Riley found Lombardi on the edge of the box who fired a shot towards the net, but Sebree would come up with another touch-save
  • In the 89th minute, Lombardi collected the ball at midfield before beating three defenders and finishing with a shot into the back of the net and icing the game
