How it Happened
  • Keiser was on the front foot early with two corners and two shots in the first four minutes
  • Following a throw-in in the 21st minute, Maria Vilhena found Lauren Riley on the wing who whipped a cross to the front post where Alicia Rey volleyed home the opening goal of the game
  • With five minutes to play in the first half, Southeastern had their best chance with Izzy Tomlin in a 1-on-1 with Maude Rouanet who made a kick save to keep her shutout streak alive
  • The Seahawks would go into the break with an 8-2 advantage in shots and the 1-0 lead
  • In the 65th minute, Riley broke away and tried an outside-footed shot that was saved, but Delfina Lombardi was there to punch in the rebound, and Keiser would go up 2-0
  • Two minutes later, Rey intercepted a ball in the midfield working it to Vilhena who played Ramona Kannady through on goal. Kannady would put the ball by the keeper and give Keiser a 3-0 lead
  • KU continued to press forward with Karine Ørud and Steingerður Snorradóttir putting shots on net
  • In the 77th minute, Ørud found Vilhena in the box who swerved a right-footed shot by the keeper to give Keiser the 4-0 lead
  • The Seahawks would hold out the remainder of the game, securing the 4-0 shutout
