Sam Harris - Interim Head Coach

No. 3 Flag Football

Samantha Harris Named Interim Head Coach of Keiser Flag Football

Keiser Director of Athletics Kris Swogger announced on Tuesday the promotion of Samantha Harris as interim head coach of Keiser flag football. Harris' promotion comes following the departure of former head coach Justin Hilliker.

"I'm definitely sad to see Coach Hilliker leave, and thankful for the time I had to learn from him," Harris said. "But our team is looking forward and we're ready to work for a National Championship. This team means the world to me, and I believe we can accomplish our goals together."

Harris' appointment comes after spending the 2023 season as assistant coach with Keiser. Last season, the Seahawks advanced to the NAIA Semifinals, finishing the year with an 11-6 record. The Seahawks ended the regular season as the No. 2 seed in the 2023 Sun Conference (7-3).

Harris, co-owner of NOMAD Mobile Fitness in Royal Palms, Florida, was the freshman, junior varsity coach, and assistant varsity coach at Seminole Ridge High School from 2008 to 2018. While at Seminole Ridge, Harris helped guide the Hawks to the state crown in 2010 and 2012.

She has also served as President of Girls Flag Football in local recreation leagues where she was responsible for managing the board of volunteers, creating league budgets, and teaching flag football to new coaches. Her work in flag football spans from Adult Leagues to PeeWee and Freshman Leagues.

Harris continues to work with her company NOMAD Mobile Fitness where she helps children and adults in understanding the importance of proper nutrition and exercise in maintaining overall health and athletic performance.
