No. 1 Women's Tennis

No. 2 Women's Tennis Faces Division II. No. 1 Barry on Tuesday

No. 2 women's tennis will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to play the top-ranked Division II team in the country, Barry. First serve from the Buccaneer Tennis Courts in Miami Shores, Fla. is set for 2:00 p.m.
 
About the Seahawks
  • Keiser fell 4-3 in their spring season opener to Florida Gulf Coast on January 10.
  • Even after forfeiting court three, the Seahawks still managed to take the doubles point going into singles play.
  • Both Violet Apisah and Katie Visnevscaia picked up wins in singles for KU on courts one and two, respectively.
  • Patricia Apisah and Tabitha Howe are expected to make their debuts for Keiser.

Last Meeting: The Seahawks defeated the Buccaneers 4-3 on January 25, 2023.
Scouting the Buccaneers: Barry comes into the spring as the No. 1 ranked team in Division II. The Buccaneers are led by Clara Versier who is ranked No. 26 by the ITA. Versier advanced to the ITA South Regional Semifinal where she was bested by Lynn's Salma Djoubri. The eight-time Division II National Champions are not officially starting their spring season until February 5, when they face Florida National, counting the match against Keiser as an exhibition.
