A hot-shooting first quarter for the Royals (8-of-14 from the field; 5-of-6 from 3-point range) put the Seahawks in early deficit which the team could not overcome as the Keiser women's basketball fell at Warner, 83-74, on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks battled back in the game, tying the contest at 41-41 but could not take the lead as KU suffered its second conference road loss of the season.
Mimmi Hahne tied her Keiser career high, scoring 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 7-of-8 from the charity stripe. She also posted five boards and recorded three assists.
Julia Fitzwater added 19, including 15 points from 3-point land.
Elise Ellison notched her eighth double-double of the season, scoring 15 points and grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds.
Elliana Schaefer, who led the team in assists (5), contributed 10 points in the game.
With a five-point lead and 1:13 left in the game, Warner outscored the Seahawks, 6-2, to close out the game and hold on for the win.
Warner 25, Keiser 16
- The Royals jumped out to a 9-2 lead following a layup by Dianis Hurtado with 7:05 on the games clock.
- WU extended their lead to 12-2 with a three-pointer by Kalyah Watson (6:41) resulting in a Keiser timeout.
- Julia Fitzwater snapped Warner's 12-0 run with a three-pointer at the 5:45 mark (15-5).
- A pair of made free throw by Mimmi Hahne extended Keiser's run to 7-0 (18-12) with 2:21 left in the first.
- The Royals scored five straight points to close out the quarter, 25-16.
Warner 41, Keiser 35
- Elliana Schaefer hit her first bucket of the game with a 3-pointer at the 8:36 mark (25-19).
- The Royals pushed their lead back to 10 with a made jumper by Bianca Francis (6:46).
- Trailing by 14 (37-23), the Seahawks went on a 8-0 run to cut the Warner lead to 37-31(2:03)

- Keiser opened the second half, scoring six straight points as Elise Ellison tied the game with a made jumper with 7:47 on the game clock (41-41).
- The Royals responded with an 8-0 run to take a 49-41 lead (6:36).
- A layup by Courtney Logan gave Warner a 10-point lead with 6:00 left in the third (51-41).
- The Seahawks used an 8-3 run to end the third, trailing by four, 59-55.
Warner 83, Keiser 74
- Warner outscored the Seahawks, 6-2, to start the quarter, leading 65-57 with 8:55 left in the game.
- A layup by Kyra Long with 6:46 left in the game, cut the Royals lead to four, 65-61.
- The Royals held an eight-point lead with 2:02 left in the game before a 3-pointer by Fitzwater with 1:13 on the game clock cut the lead to five, 77-72.
- Warner outscored the Seahawks, 6-2, in the final 1:13 to hold on for the win.
