Keiser women's tennis clinched an all-Keiser singles and doubles final at the ITA Regionals in Boca Raton, Fla. The ladies finished 2-1 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles on the day.


In this tournament, if you play for the Seahawks, you will eventually run into a teammate, and that's what will happen on Sunday. As for Saturday, Violet Apisah worked through her semifinal matchup with ease, taking out Martina Picardi(4), 6-0, 6-2. On the other side of the bracket, Katie Visnevscaia and Isabella Perez Flores faced off with Visnevscaia once again defeating her Keiser counterpart with a score of 6-3, 6-0. When play switched to doubles, Apisah and Vanja Vidanovic defeated the fourth-seeded Sukkhana and Ragona of SCAD, 8-3. Yeva Kononovich and Perez Flores will see their teammates in the final as they defeated their SCAD opponents, Piccoliori and Puig Llompart, 8-5.




Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Happy with the ladies performance today. I thought the girls did a great job of coming out and playing on our terms and taking the match for themselves. Without question, you can see the level of focus from the girls, knowing that if they played well today, they could make it an all-Keiser final, and that's what they did. Obviously, that's a great feeling as a coach to know that tomorrow, one way or another, you're going to have a Seahawk again as a champion, but I can safely say that both singles and doubles should be some high-quality tennis ending with the ladies bringing home regional titles once again."
