The Keiser volleyball team picked up one victory and two losses on the final day of the Vipers Sports Academy Classic. Keiser was defeated by Mobile, won in four sets versus Rust, and fell in four sets to Life.

The Seahawks took on the Rams in the morning window of the day, but ran into trouble early in the match. With the Seahawks up 14-11 in the first set, the Rams rattled off a 5-0 run to take the lead. Keiser battled back to tie it at 21 apiece, but the Rams closed out the set on a 3-1 run. In the second set, Keiser got off to a better start and held a 16-11 lead, but Mobile was able to regroup and cut Keiser's lead to 20-18. After that, the Rams ended the set with seven unanswered points. During the final set, each team traded blows and service aces until the set was tied 9-9. The Rams were able to pull in front 16-11, and despite three consecutive Keiser points, Mobile ended the match on a blistering 9-1 rally.

In Keiser's second game of the day, the Seahawks were able to rediscover their offensive rhythm, and took down a scrappy Bearcat squad. KU got off to a hot start, and began the first set with an 11-4 run. After a Rust service ace to bring the score to 18-12, Keiser wrapped up the set with a 6-0 run. The second set featured less separation on the scoreboard, and a kill from Rust brought the score to 15-16 midway through the frame. At that point, Keiser fired off an 9-1 scoring run to take a two set lead. The third set began well enough for the Seahawks, who at one point held a 16-11 lead, but the Bearcats scratched back into the contest and took a late lead on a Keiser attacking error. When Keiser tied the set at 22-22, Rust scored three unanswered points to take the set and extend the match. In the fourth and final set, Keiser appeared rejuvenated and began the set with 10 unanswered points. At one point in the set, KU led 18-4. Rust later committed two consecutive attacking errors to end the set, and the Seahawks took the match 3-1.

Keiser battled all the way in a tough match versus Life, but ultimately fell to the Running Eagles. Keiser clashed with Life in the first set, battling evenly until a
Brooklynn Slater kill sparked a 9-1 run down the stretch that put Keiser up 1-0. In the second set, Keiser took a 14-11 lead, but Life rallied to tie the set at 15 apiece. The set was gridlocked the rest of the way, with neither team taking more than a two point lead. Eventually, the Running Eagles narrowly took the set 27-25. In a tumultuous third set that saw a yellow card issued and numerous lead changes, Life was able to come out on top 25-19. In the fourth and final set, Life jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead. Keiser was able to regroup and cut the lead down to one, but the Running Eagles maintained their lead and closed out the match on a 6-0 run.

- Aby Tibesar picked up four blocks.
- Hannah Heide served up 43 assists, her 16th career game with 40+ assists.
- Heide totaled 167 assists in five games.
- The Seahawks hit .375 in the first set.
- Abygale Lester matched her jersey number with 12 digs.
- Erika Magin also chipped in 12 digs.

The Seahawks travel to Lebanon, Tenn. next weekend to take on Cumberland, Fisk, Faulkner, and Madonna, and will then head to Marietta, Ga. to face Point, Reinhardt, and Tennessee Wesleyan.
