Keiser men's lacrosse remained undefeated at home on the season with a comeback win versus Webber International on Senior Day. The Seahawks were down 9-6 late but stormed back with four unanswered goals to secure a first-round bye in the AAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
Keiser 2, Webber International 2
- Keiser was hot out of the gate, and Marek Albiero scored two goals for Keiser, with the first goal coming just 54 seconds into the game.
- The Warriors tied the game with two goals in a two-minute span.
Keiser 5, Webber International 5
- Josten Ucros scored on a man-up opportunity with 09:37 on the clock, courtesy of a Braeden Niemy assist.
- WIU countered with two goals in 53 seconds.
- With time winding down in the first half, Keiser was able to score two goals with 2:08 and 1:21 on the clock respectively.
- Josten Ucros scored the first, and Niemy found the net for the second. Jack Gillen provided the assist for both goals.
- Webber International scored a goal with :40 on the clock to tie the game heading into halftime.
Keiser 6, Webber International 8
- The Warriors hit the net with 11:48 on the clock.
- Vincent Cerasuolo answered one minute later with an unassisted goal.
- WIU scored the final two goals of the quarter to take a two-goal lead going into the fourth.
Keiser 10, Webber International 9
- Webber International scored just 26 seconds into the quarter, and put the Seahawks down by three.
- With 10:29 on the scoreboard, Jack Gillen scored with a Josten Ucros assist.
- Two minutes later, AJ Badik scored on a man-up opportunity with a Cole Stassi assist.
- Badik scored again with 5:43 on the clock, this time without an assist.
- With 3:09, Badik scored on another man-up opportunity to complete his fifth hat trick of the year, and give Keiser the late lead. Vincent Cerasuolo provided the assist.
- For the final three minutes of the game, Keiser stood tall defensively and fended off two WIU shots to secure the victory.
- Keiser outshot Webber 44-33.
- Cam Provines was solid on the faceoff x, going 15-23.
- AJ Badik scored the final three goals of the game.
- KU went 3-5 on man-up opportunities.
- The Seahawks picked up 37 groundballs.
- The Seahawk offense closed out the game with four unanswered goals.
