No. 1 Women's Tennis

No. 1 Women's Tennis Prepped for Home Opener with No. 25 Cardinal Stritch

The No. 1 Keiser women's tennis team will be back in action on Monday afternoon for their first home match of the season against No. 25 Cardinal Stritch. The first serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Boca Raton, Fla.
 
About the Seahawks
  • The Seahawks head into Saturday's match with an 8-1 record on the season after defeating Sun Conference foes, St. Thomas on Wednesday.
  • Isabella Perez Flores moved into sixth all-time in wins with her 43rd against the Bobcats.
  • Keiser will look to add to their ranked wins list having already defeated the No. 1, 3, and 11 ranked teams in the NAIA.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Another match, another ranked opponent tomorrow. As always, it will be extremely important that we come out strong tomorrow from the beginning and are able to set the tone early. We've been working on our focus in different areas of the match over the last couple of days and I'm looking forward to seeing how well we can apply what we have worked on tomorrow."

Keiser vs. Cardinal Stritch
Series Record: Keiser is 5-0 all-time against the Cardinal Stritch in the series.
Last Meeting: The Seahawks defeated the Wolves 4-0 on March 4, 2020.
Scouting the Eagles: Cardinal Stritch is off to a 1-2 start to the spring season after facing a pair of Division III opponents and Division I Northern Illinois. Aspasia Katsouda plays on the No. 1 court for the Wolves, picking up her lone win of the season against D-III Gustavus Adolphus. No. 40 Emerson Banning and No. 49 Amalie Grube Anderson hold the lone rankings for Cardinal Stritch entering the spring season.
