The Keiser flag football team are back in the win column after a victory on the road after facing St Thomas. The Seahawks scored 13 unanswered points in the second half for the win. Jazmin Rhoden threw three touchdown passes, leaving her just seven shy of 100 in her career.  Keiser is now 8-0 all-time against St Thomas. 

 


First Quarter

Keiser 7, St Thomas 0 Second Quarter
Keiser 14, St Thomas 12
  • A one-yard rush by Jada Graham led to a touchdown for the Bobcats with 8:57 left.
  • The extra point was no good.
  • On the ensuing play, Rhoden threw an interception, giving St. Thomas a first and goal at the 15-yard line. 
  • The Bobcats score on a two-yard touchdown pass from Leilani Nieves to Tiffany Walker with 6:33 left. 
  • The extra point for the Bobcats was no good.
  • Keiser went on to take the lead with a touchdown pass from Rhoden to Griffin with 4:05 left on the clock.
  • The extra point was good from Rhoden to Emma Wagenman
  • The Seahawks went into half time with the lead over the Bobcats.

Third Quarter

Keiser 14, St Thomas 12
  • Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard, Keiser continued to hold their lead 14-12 in the third quarter.
  • With 1:43 left in the third, the Seahawks started a drive at the St Thomas 17-yard line. 
Fourth Quarter
Keiser 20, St Thomas 12
  •  A four-yard touchdown pass from Rhoden to Griffin added to the Seahawks lead.
  • The drive that gave Keiser the 20-12 lead ate up 7:05 minutes.
  • After a personal foul penalty pushed St Thomas back to the 20-yard line, pass break ups by Sa'mya Bryant and Sydney Woodman (in the endzone) on back-to-back plays turned the ball over to the Seahawks.
