The Sun Conference announced its 2023 conference award winners on Friday. Junior
Matthew Disisto was selected as the Sun Conference Champion of Character.

- Is the first Seahawks to win the Sun Conference Champion of Character award.
- Selected to the SUNÂ All-Conference Second Team for the first time in his career.
- He has maintained a 4.0 every semester and will graduate this spring with a degree in Sport Management.
- A member of the 2022 Sun Conference All-Academic Team.
- Garnered 2022 NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors and was named a CSC Academic All-District member.
- Has volunteered his time at local elementary schools by reading and helping with physical education classes.
- Has also put in time to help the Keiser women's flag football team as a manager - helped with team duties such as planning travel, practices, and equipment organization.
- He also led the team in the organization and planning of adopting two families at Christmas to provide gifts and make their holiday special.
- One of the team's undisputed leaders in planning, organizing, and participating in our team's community service outreach events.
- Also makes a large difference in the academic culture of both our team and university at large.
- Has been one of the team's academic liaisons; helping other students on campus with tutoring, academic organization and advising them on matters such test taking strategies and course selection by lending from his extensive experience as a highly achieving student here at Keiser University.

The Seahawks will host a second-round game in the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday, November 25 (opponent yet to be determined). Kickoff from the Keiser Multi-Purpose Field is set for 1:00 PM.
