The No. 2-ranked Keiser football team ended the 2025 season with a 22-16 loss to No. 1 Grand View in the NAIA National Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
Following a 37-yard field goal by
Dorian Hall with two seconds left in regulations, the Seahawks recovered the team's first onside kick since April 27, 2021 (Arizona Christian in the NAIA FCS First Round), giving Keiser the ball on Grand View 42-yard line. With one second on the game clock,
Shea Spencer heaved a Hail Mary pass towards the endzone but GVU's Triston Williams batted the ball down to end the game.
The Seahawks registered 337 yards of total offense, including 290 through the air.
Shea Spencer ended his Keiser career, completing 29-of-50 passes for 290 yards and one touchdown. The Vero Beach, Florida, native finished the 2025 season as Keiser and the Sun Conference's all-time leading passer with 9,690 yards while collecting a school-best 80 career touchdowns.
Spencer's top two receivers in the game were
Maurico Porcha and
Dallas Desouza. Porcha ended the day with nine catches for 114 yards and one touchdown while Desouza grabbed nine passes for 102 yards.
The Keiser defense held Grand View to 350 yards of total offense led by
Eli Bertrand and Mailk Razz who each registered seven tackles in the game.
The Seahawks finished the 2025 season with a 12-1 record, advancing to the team's fourth straight NAIA National Championship Game.
